BREAKFAST FOR MEDITERRANEAN DIET-TOSTADAS

Breakfast for Mediterranean Diet- Spanish tostadas (toasted fresh artesian bread) is a complex carbohydrate breakfast affair. Crusty bread, some homemade marmalade, freshly pressed tomatoes drizzled with olive oil. Or a simple pâté sprinkled with red peppercorn will leave a smile on your face the entire day.
The one thing I craved in the US while living there was good artesian bread. However, I couldn’t find the bread that reminded me of the rustic moreish bread of Spain or Southern Europe.

Sabores de Granada
The breakfast for Mediterranean Diet -the tostadas are easy to make. You only need local freshly baked bread, butter, jam, tomato, olive oil, pâté, avocado, and honey.
You can make any combination you would like to enjoy because they are all good. The whole process takes 5 to 8 minutes.

Don’t forget that the tostada with tomato is made of freshly pressed wine tomato that is drizzled with good quality virgin olive oil and sprinkled with natural sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
There is nothing better for breakfast than tostadas. Usually, the toast is accompanied by freshly squeezed orange juice and the famous Spanish café con Leche. The coffee is always perfect and creamy like one of my lovely neighbors describes it.
